Hello everybody,
I would like to explain my disappearance of recent months. I have been working with illustration for some years and I have always been looking for improvement in my work, with constant study and a heavy dose of self-criticism. Late August this year there was a personal problem that turned out to be an emotional trigger leading to a burnout. I had psychological and physical problems, I didn't feel like doing anything, I did nothing, eating became a struggle, the drawing seemed something distant. I had to suspend everything and practically dropped all the projects I was participating in for survival, I needed to breathe again and avoid any pressure or frustration in order to move on.
Time went by and gradually with help from outside I was returning my activities, I'm not 100% yet (in fact I think no one is 100% haha) but I'm already much better. I'm returning (still slowly) with the illustration, taking a few projects so as not to overload me. There is new equipment coming up (which makes me very excited). I died for a while but it took me to be reborn. I feel stronger and eager to go back to producing art again.
If you accompany me here thank you very much for everything!
Outside support is very important to me. Working with art is not an easy task but this contact with the public renews me.
Best Regards,
Rafael Cavalcanti.
